TechVault is the comprehensive backup plan your business needs to thrive.
Backups can bridge the gap between recovering from a data disaster and losing everything.
At Valley Techlogic we believe the best backup strategy is multifaceted. On-site, cloud, and archival backups are all included in our TechVault plan.
TechVault is a keystone part of our comprehensive service plan packages. The three backup types are as follows:
- On-site Backup. One copy of your backup remains in your office (or home). Updated every 15 minutes for the most current version of your data and the fastest restore path if a primary device fails.
- In the Cloud. A second, off-site copy in the cloud—immune to local risks like theft, fire, or natural disasters that could impact on-site data.
- Archival Backup. A one-time, immutable snapshot that can’t be altered or overwritten without extreme effort—your best defense in the event of a cyber incident.
Together, these three layers form our unbreakable backup plan: TechVault. It pairs with other protections like OfficeGuard for Microsoft 365, VoIP support, onsite assistance, and more. Fill out the form to receive our information packet instantly.

TechVault FAQ
What are our RPO and RTO targets?
RPO (Recovery Point Objective): as low as 15 minutes with on-site snapshots.
RTO (Recovery Time Objective): typically under 60 minutes for single-device restores; server/VM recoveries vary by size and platform. We’ll confirm targets during onboarding.
How long do we keep backups (retention)?
Default retention is 30–90 days for on-site and cloud copies (daily + weekly restore points), with monthly archives available. Archival/immutable sets can be retained for 6–84 months based on compliance needs.
Where are off-site backups stored?
Backups replicate to geographically separate data centers within the U.S. (region selection available). Cross-region options are available for higher resilience.
Are backups encrypted?
Yes—data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest with strong algorithms (AES-256). Optional customer-managed keys are available on request.
Do you test restores?
Yes—we perform regular test restores (sampled files/VMs) and provide reports. Frequency is typically quarterly and can be increased for regulated environments.
What are immutable backups?
Immutable archives are write-once backups that can’t be modified or deleted within the retention window—an essential control against ransomware and malicious deletion.
How fast can we recover?
Local restores are usually minutes. Cloud restores depend on dataset size and bandwidth; we support staged or prioritized recovery (e.g., critical shares first).
What counts toward storage usage?
Storage is based on the unique protected data plus retention. We use compression and deduplication to minimize space and cost.
Do you monitor backup health and alerts?
Yes—jobs are actively monitored with automated alerts and human review. Failures or anomalies trigger remediation and a notification to your contacts.
